Los Alamitos, CA - PMCC course
This is a ten week course that covers all subject areas tested by the professional medical coding certification exams (AHIMA's CCS-P, ACMCS' PCS, AAPC's CPC). Classes meet once a week for at least six hours. Topics include: A. Review of Medical Terminology; B. Introduction to Regulatory information and websites; C. Foundational Coding Concepts; D. Guidance to code all body systems as well as ancillary services; E. Plenty of Practice Scenarios to which you can apply your learnings; F. Mock Exam at the end of the course to discover and work your weak areas; Prerequisites: 1. Commitment to do Whatever It Takes! 2. Dedication to complete all assignments. 3. Desire to persevere.
