Class meets one day a week for 16 weeks
Meet 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
over the course of sixteen weeks
Prerequisites: Medical terminology, human anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, healthcare industry basics course OR another certification in coding by either the ACMCS or the AAPC may substitute for these prerequisities. Prerequisites are not checked and it is the responsibility of the participant to ensure adequate background for the course.
This course is very demanding and will require great commitment on the part of the participant. It is recommended that the student study at least two hours on their own for every hour that is spent in class.
CCS exams are scheduled through AHIMA.
They are taken at approved testing sites.

Success in passing the certification exam is entirely dependent on the participant's commitment and capabilities. No guarantees are made by Reimbursement Specialist of passing the exam upon first attempt. Results differ between individuals and no claims are made as to duplicate success. There is limited space, so register early if you want to be part of this class.
If a refund is requested prior to the first day of class, an Administration Fee of $200 will be deducted. Withdrawal within the first week results in a 75% of the $2200 as a refund. The second week results in 50% of the $2200 as a refund. No refunds after the second week of class.
