Medical Reimbursement Specialist

Matt Stoops is the President and CEO of Reimbursement Specialist. He has been with the firm since its inception. Mr. Stoops directs the firm's medical group security advisory services. He also has more than 12 years in expansion and building planning. Mr. Stoops is a Certified Professional Coder through The American College of Medical Coding Specalists as well as the American Academy of Professional Coders.

Prior to joining Solutions Unlimited, Mr. Stoops held positions with consulting firms in the engineering and security industries.

Victoria Menchaca is a senior consultant at Reimbursement Specialist with 20 years of health care experience with medical groups, health plans and integrated delivery systems. Victoria specializes in coding, compliance, and reimbursement projects. She has led special initiatives to refine business office operations, system development / implementation, third party payor regulations, and coding, billing and collections. Ms. Menchaca provides ongoing practice management services to physician and MSO clients.

Ms. Menchaca is a nationally sought speaker on coding and reimbursement topics. she has contributed to Part B News publications as an expert coder.

Prior to joining Reimbursement Specialist, Ms. Menchaca was a senior consultant with The Camden Group and continues to support their clients through this relationship. She has also held management positions with PacifiCare Health Systems, FPA, Physicians Corporation of America, Cleveland Clinic Foundation, CIGNA Healthplan of South Florida and MacNeal Management Services Corporation, Inc.

Ms. Menchaca completed her undergraduate education in production management at Loyola University of Chicago and is in the process of attaining her Master’s degree in Health Information Management at The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN. She is certified through The American College of Medical Coding Specialists, The American Health Information Management Association and the American Academy of Professional Coders. She also is a Certified Medical Auditor / Reimbursement Specialist.
